Maybe it was my younger son who forgot to close the door, or something. But living in this township for over two decades, and seeing the wrongdoings the upper township police department has been accused off, it really shows that they are below standards.
In order to begin, this has to deal with my dog. He must have found an escape out of the house, and we weren’t home. Our neighbors called the township and an officer came. The officer I guess decided to let the dog back in the house, or where ever he got “out.” Few days later we received an excess fine of $200 for a FIRST-time offence without a warning. Shouldn’t the dog be held in custody so we are aware that he escaped, and we can pick him up after work, or etc.…. poor policy.
I’ve talked to other neighbors and friends that when their dog’s escapes, the police actually helps find them, and offer supports. Unlike us, we just get max fines, and the officer trespassing into our property into letting the dog in.
The best police department in the county. Friendly, professional and like all of our first responders, there when you need them. God bless you and THANK YOU for your dedication to making our town safe and a great place to live!
